Sally Jo Bucholtz has been immersed in the equestrian world since childhood, getting her first pony at age four and starting 4-H at eight years old. From that moment, she was hooked. Horses are in her blood—her mother is both an accomplished horsewoman and a judge, inspiring Sally Jo’s own journey in the industry. In 2015, she founded SJB Show Horses, where she has since guided her clients and horses to an impressive 11 world and national titles. In 2017, she further cemented her expertise by becoming a carded 4-H judge. With a deep passion for coaching and training, she is dedicated to bringing out the best in every horse and rider she works with. For Sally Jo, the most rewarding part of her career is watching a horse and rider grow together as a team. She believes in the power of dedication and patience, recognizing that while the process isn’t always easy, the rewards are immeasurable. Her commitment to excellence and love for the sport continue to shape the next generation of riders, ensuring each one has the skills and confidence to succeed in and out of the arena.
